2.) Students will scan this to refresh there memory about important people in American History. They will also be given a Constitutional Crossword puzzle to work on.
After the students have finished there assignment, they will each be assigned to a group in class and discuss what they thought was interesting about each individual and why they believe they are labeled as Important people in American History.

I wonder if you might just link the QR to specific people from history ~or~ link the names to quick YouTube videos so the students get a quick overview of the people before they make the choice of who they want to learn about.
